In the feeding of the 5,000 story in the Bible, significant generosity happened once the child shared (John 6:9). 

That is how it is here.  Once we begin to share, we will see that God has blessed us with plenty and we, in turn, desire to share with others.

As the First Lutheran community sets intentions for financial giving in 2023, each of us might also set personal intentions for how we use our time and talents in the coming year, such as to be more regular in worship participation, spiritual practices, or healthy habits; to spend intentional time with a close friend or family member at least once each week; or perhaps to bring food donations for First Lutheran’s food pantry ministry.  Whatever your intentions for the coming year, we invite you to offer them to God in the midst of this community by sharing them below. We may share these anonymously in an upcoming bulletin.
