Thank you for your interest in Down Under Yoga's work exchange! As a reminder, we have openings for work-exchange positions involving studio maintenance, public outreach, and occasional administrative work.
We ask from our volunteers a minimum of three months commitment of two hours minimum per week, during which you are able to be fully present and enthusiastic in supporting Down Under's mission to provide a nurturing space for our students. In exchange for our volunteers dedication, you will receive one class credit for each hour worked and will be included in social and educational community events.
As volunteers are an integral part of fulfilling Down Under's mission, our volunteers must be able to commit to their shift times 100%, AND support their fellow volunteers by picking up shifts in need of coverage. If a shift is to be missed due to a scheduling conflict or illness, it is the individuals responsibility to reach out to find coverage.
