The recent spread of COVID-19 has resulted in many concerns and challenges.  With school and day care closures, childcare becomes a challenge for parents, especially parents in healthcare and critical sector roles in our community. This site helps to match individual babysitters to one single family, which limits potential transmission and allows our healthcare workers to continue to do their jobs. Babysitters can volunteer their time or choose to charge for their services. Payment will be arranged independent of this site between families and babysitters.

The goal of this initiative is to maximize babysitting options for families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the primary aim to serve healthcare and essential workers. If you are looking for general childcare, you may consider options such as Care.com or the Mankato Area Childcare Facebook group.
