TIDES 2026 Summer Camp Application
Welcome to TIDES! Ocean First's premier, hands-on marine science and SCUBA Summer Camp for campers ages 12 to 17. We also have our counselor assistant opportunity where young leaders and former campers ages 18+ can be a SHARK: SCUBA Hero & Role Model for Kids. SHARKs pay the same listed rates and require an 11am arrival time for training.

UPGRADES FOR 2026! Ocean First TIDES Camp 2026 is expanding the adventure with more dives, longer sessions, and a new home base at Bungalow Bay. Campers will stay in comfortable bayside lodging designed for our campers, with easy access to the water and plenty of space to connect on the recreation rooftops. Alongside diving, campers can now enjoy stand‑up paddle boarding and sea kayaking, adding new ways to explore and build confidence on the water. Mealtimes also get an upgrade, with fresh, restaurant‑quality options provided through the Hideout Restaurant - fueling campers for full days of exploration and discovery.

This is step one in getting your camper(s) ready for TIDES in Key Largo. Keep in mind you will need to submit this form for each individual camper. After submitting this form, your application will go through our approval and placement process. Once notified of your enrollment status you will proceed to payment and finally forms and waivers. If you have any questions along the way please let us know.

Eligibility. This is why your application could be denied:
  1. Camper Enrollment: Each TIDES Program must have a minimum of 6 campers with a maximum of 17.
  2. Age: TIDES Campers must be 12 years old by the start of their program
  3. Swimming Ability: Campers must be proficient swimmers. Campers will be asked to tread in deep water for 10 minutes and swim 300 yards using their mask, fins and snorkel.
  4. If you haven't already, please take a moment to familiarize yourself and your camper(s) with our 2026 TIDES Camp Information Packet. This will help answer most questions and assure TIDES is right for you
  5. Medical Restrictions: Please take a moment to review this document to ensure your camper is medically compliant. Once you've submitted this application, the medical questionnaire and initial liability waivers will be sent for you to complete. If you have questions about medical eligibility, please reach out.
