Biobanks collect samples and tissues and make them available to researchers for scientific research. The quality of samples and clinical data in the biobanks strongly depends on the way samples and data are collected, processed and stored.
On the Biobank Day, organized on March 23rd at the University Hospital of Gent, biobank experts will highlight all the critical steps in the biobanking process and the hurdles you might face when working in a biobank.
The theory will be illustrated with movies and hands-on sessions to make it a real-life biobanking experience.
