14:30 – 15:15 ‘Integrating key competencies into your English Lessons’
This session is for secondary school teachers who want to dive into the topic of life competencies and their implementation into English lessons. School education cannot be defined as an effective one when it’s separated from real life. Therefore, it is highly important to deliver useful information in order to get high results in the classroom as well as use it in real life situations. During the session, we will look at each of the competencies in detail and see how they work at the lessons.


15:30 – 16:15 ‘Listening is a life skill’
Every day we listen to different things and we seem to automatically know how to listen and what to expect, especially if it is in our native language. However, when learning a foreign language, listening comprehension is far more difficult. In the course of this session we will look into different aspects of dealing with listening comprehension in class and tips on how we can help students develop this skill effectively.
