Student Applicants: Key Criteria: Student applicants must be full-time in a degree-granting, certificate or diploma program. Professional Applicants: Key Criteria: Professional applicants must fit one of the following categories: • Newly-employed in a fundraising capacity within the last three years for a nonprofit organization • Actively seeking work in a fundraising capacity for an area nonprofit organization • Serve as a nonprofit executive or fundraiser for an organization with an operating budget of $1,000,000 or less
Benefits: $50 Chapter dues waived. Full membership benefits.
Application Process: Applicants must submit scholarship application and a current resume. Applications will be screened by the AFPKC Chapter membership committee and presented to the Board of Directors for approval. Please allow 30 – 45 days between application and response from AFPKC. Scholarships will be open until the yearly allotment of scholarships is awarded.
Deadline: Open, distributed to first approved applicants. Scholarships will be awarded based on annual allotment.
