AFPKC Chapter Scholarship Application For New Members
This scholarship award will waive the chapter dues portion of and AFP membership ($50 value). Applicants must join AFP Global at their own cost. Scholarship is for new members only. Applicants may be students interested in the nonprofit sector, newly-employed and job-seeking fundraising professionals, or small nonprofit professionals.

Student Applicants:
Key Criteria: Student applicants must be full-time in a degree-granting, certificate or diploma program.

Professional Applicants:
Key Criteria: Professional applicants must fit one of the following categories:
• Newly-employed in a fundraising capacity within the last three years for a nonprofit organization
• Actively seeking work in a fundraising capacity for an area nonprofit organization
• Serve as a nonprofit executive or fundraiser for an organization with an operating budget of $1,000,000 or less

$50 Chapter dues waived. Full membership benefits.

Application Process:
Applicants must submit scholarship application and a current resume. Applications will be screened by the AFPKC Chapter membership committee and presented to the Board of Directors for approval. Please allow 30 – 45 days between application and response from AFPKC. Scholarships will be open until the yearly allotment of scholarships is awarded.

Open, distributed to first approved applicants. Scholarships will be awarded based on annual allotment.
