PRSSA Regional Conference
Dates: Arrive March 29, Depart March 31

We will be either taking the train or driving, more information will be coming soon.

The Public Relations Student Society of America, SJSU chapter will be traveling to Sacramento, CA for the 2019 Regional Conference.

Companies and speakers on public policy, strategic communications, digital communications and more will be attending.

You don't want to miss out on this professional development event full of keynote speakers, panels, mixers and more. Students majoring in public relations, communications, advertising, journalism, marketing, digital media, business studies, event management and hospitality are the most common academic focuses in attendance -- but all students are welcome!

FYI: PRSSA is an accredited National organization which means that professors will be more flexible with missing those classes (some students will not miss any classes). Just be sure to talk to them in advance and get your assignment submitted early and there is usually never problem! For students worried about missing work, let your manager know as far in advance as possible so they can make arrangements. Most employers will support you, and you may even be able to switch shifts/pick up extra hours before the trip.

For students worried about the conference fees, please note that this is only an interest form and that PRSSA is doing everything possible to secure funding and raise money to reduce the student cost for this trip!
