This call is for abstracts of graduate research of Webster Vienna Private University. Abstracts will be considered for one or both of the following: oral presentations and poster presentations. All oral presentation abstracts received will be considered for poster presentations, but poster presentation abstracts will not be considered for oral presentations. Please identify whether your abstract is for an oral presentation or poster presentation.
Submissions for an oral presentation should be from completed or nearly completed thesis proposal or research. Projects do not necessarily need to present findings, but must provide a thorough literature review, justification of the research project, and methodology.
Submissions for a poster presentation should be from one of the following: a thesis proposal, a mini-thesis, a capstone, a completed thesis or a nearly completed thesis.
Graduate students and alumni of Webster Vienna Private University or Webster University are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts. Graduate students and alumni of Webster Worldwide campuses are also encouraged to submit abstracts, however, there is no financial assistance available for travel or any other expenses to be incurred by attending the Graduate Research Summit.
The deadline for submitting an abstract has been extended to Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 11:59pm. Those awarded a spot as either oral or poster presenters will be notified by the email provided after the Scientific Committee reviews all submissions.
The Graduate Research Summit will take place at Palais Wenkheim (Praterstrasse 23, 1020 Vienna) on November 24, 2017 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
Submissions of those without any formal affiliation with Webster (either through alumni status or current student status) will not be considered, but he or she is welcome to RSVP to the event at email@example.com.
Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words, submitted in PDF or Word documents. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
