Student Chapter End of the Year Report
The Student Chapter End of Year Report is used to determine the NCPA Chapter of the Year. NCPA recognizes the top three student chapters and the most improved student chapter at the 121st Annual Convention and Trade Show in San Diego. The winner of Chapter of the Year receives a cash award of $2,000. Cash awards will also be awarded as follows: First runner-up ($1,000) second runner-up ($500), and the Most Improved chapter $250.

In addition to recognizing and rewarding outstanding NCPA student chapters, the NCPA Student Chapter End of Year report serves as an invaluable resource to NCPA. These reports help the association learn about chapter activities, share good ideas with other chapters and help continuously improve our student programming.

Evaluation of chapter activities is based upon criteria such as program originality, innovation, number of chapter members involved, impact on the community, benefit to student chapter members, and collaboration with independent pharmacies and health care organizations. Each section of the report is graded as a percentage:

1. Neighborhood Community Service – 15%
2. Creating and Retaining Members – 15%
3. Promoting Independent Pharmacy – 25%
4. Advocacy Grassroots – 25%
5. Fundraising – 5%
6. Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Participation – 2.5%
7. Community Health Challenge Report Submission – 2.5%
8. Legislative Action Challenge Report Submission –2. 5%
9. Simplify My Meds Challenge Report Submission- 2.5%
10. Submission of Chapter’s Constitution/Bylaws – 2.5%
11. NCPA Student Chapter Affiliation Agreement completed – 2.5% (new in April 2014)

Please reference the End of the Year Report Grading Rubric for further information on how reports will be graded.
Supplemental materials such as pictures, flyers, presentation slide decks and etc. may be emailed to studentaffairs@ncpanet.org. You are encouraged to upload photos to the NCPA Student Network group page on Facebook. These materials will only be used for grading purposes in the chance of a tie. Additionally, these materials may be used to highlight innovative and progressive projects in America's Pharmacist, the NCPA student website, or in the NCPA monthly student e-Newsletter. Photos submitted in .jpg format are encouraged.

Final reports submitted by June 5, 2019. Please be as accurate as possible and answer all questions with honesty and integrity. End of Year Reports must be email time stamped by 11:59 PM Eastern on June 5, 2019.
