About CPRS Region 2 Mini Conference...

This one day training on Thursday, November 6, 2025 will offer educational sessions designed to develop the skills and knowledge of our Region 2 recreation and park professionals. Region 2 consists of San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. We are currently seeking motivated speakers to present a 45-minute session on topics relevant to the parks and recreation profession. Interested speakers may submit up to two session proposals.

Each selected speaker will receive free conference registration. Any additional co-presenters will be required to register and pay the standard registration fee.

Session tracks for Students, Programmers, Management/Administration, and Parks/Facilities.

Session Proposal Submission Deadline: Friday, September 19th

Once applications are submitted they will be reviewed by the Mini Conference committee. Applicants will be notified by the end of September regarding the status of their proposal.
