*J.C. Movement Before & After School Movement is a is religious, charitable, education & scientific-based program through J.C. Movement, INC.

1. Children are accepted on a first-paid, first-served basis. If the movement has reached its capacity, your child will be placed on a Waiting List in order to receive enrollment forms. Registration fees must be paid in full before a child from the waiting list will be admitted into the Movement. Paying of the registration fee does not guarantee your child a spot in the program if all seats are field.

2. No child will be enrolled in the Movement unless all forms have been completed and submitted.

Program Policies:

1. The movement is open depending on the Movement your child is involved in on the day that you were originally informed on (Summer Movement, Before/After School Movement, J.C. Day Home Development) and is closed on weekends, holidays, and inclement weather days.

2. Your child will be under the supervision of a J.C. Movement team member and or volunteer who was given a background check from the time he or she arrives until pickup.

3. Removal or suspension from our movement may occur if the following inappropriate behavior is used: stealing; damaging property; using foul language; being disruptive and uncontrollable in the group; harming another student or staff person; disrespect to adults or peers; inappropriate behavior(s) not solved after repeated attempts; behavior detrimental to the student and/or others. Staff will communicate regularly with families regarding behavior concerns. Every effort will be made by staff to enlist the cooperation of the student and parents to solve problems. The student must be able to function in a learning environment designed with a 20:1 student/teacher ratio. If a student’s behavior is problematic, the parent will be notified, and appropriate action will be taken, which may result in the removal of the student from the program.

4. Parents/guardians are responsible for the repair and/or replacement of programs and materials that are damaged or destroyed by their child.

5. Grievances: Parent input concerning the program is important. Feel free to share these comments with the Site Director. If you are unable to resolve questions concerning policies and procedures, you may contact Joseph C. Jenkins/ Leslee Williams / Carrie Williams.

6. Nondiscrimination Notice: It is the policy of the J.C. Movement not to discriminate based on sex, race, national origin, creed, age, marital status, or disability in its programs, activities, or employment policies as required by Title VI and Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Acts, Title IX of the 1972 Educational Amendments and Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Late Policy:

If parents are late picking up students, there is a 10 min grace period. Meaning that depending on if the after-school leader would be okay with staying an extra 10 minutes with the student(s). After 10 mins, the parent will be dropped from program. During this time leader will reach out to individuals on the pickup list for help. If the student is not picked up in 60 min. The leader will reach out to the school leader. If there is no response from the school leader, DCS (Department of Child Services) will be contacted. This is the last result only if a plan of contact has not been put into place with the parent and Leader.

Documentation Policy:

If a student has behavior needs that require up to 5 redirections in a day. Students will then be placed on a documentation policy depending on the staff's judgment of behavior. The parent and student will sit with staff members to review the policy. Students and parents will have access to a form that will be updated on student behaviors. If the student gets up to 5 a day of documentation notes, he/she will be suspended from the program for one week. The fee is still required for the week. Once the student returns, the student will continue with the documentation policy. The student will be removed from the program if the behavior continues.
