The Writing Center's three appointment request links and workshop registration link are posted below. There are three types of tutoring offered: (1) face-to-face, (2) Zoom video conference, and (3) asynchronous e-mail tutoring. Read the descriptions below, and once you decide which type you prefer, click on the corresponding link and complete the appointment request form. Click on the fourth link to see the Writing Center's workshop schedule and to register for one or more workshops.
Click on the link to the type of tutorial you wish to request.
1) Face-to-Face Tutorial - You will meet your tutor
in person at the Bradley Hall (Y) Writing Center or the Library L233 Writing Center. Once we process your request, you will receive a confirmation email with the location and date/time of your appointment.

2) Zoom Tutorial - You will meet your tutor online at a scheduled time using an assigned Zoom link. Once we process your request, you will receive an email with the date/time of your session along with the Zoom ID link.

3) E-mail Tutorial - Your tutor will respond to your essay through email.
You will not meet with your tutor online or in person. Once we process your request, you will receive a confirmation email that indicates the date/time when your tutor will begin reviewing and responding to your paper. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please call the Writing Center at 516-572-7195 (Bradley Hall) or 516-572-3595 (Library L233), Monday through Friday. Requests received on the weekend may not be processed until Monday.
