Job Description:

The Spinning Wheel is an art and craft studio that focuses on recycling and sustainability. We host birthday parties and workshops alongside our retail section.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. At The Spinning Wheel ATX, we are looking for people who are self-driven and passionate about learning. An employee of The Spinning Wheel must have good interpersonal communication skills and be ready to interact with students of all ages.

Though we are an art and craft studio, people with all levels of art experience are encouraged to apply. We are looking for an individual with a positive mindset and a passion for creativity. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing the Sales and Operations of the studio.
• Enthusiastically hosting birthday parties for groups of children.
• Conducting corporate workshops with professional and seamless execution.
• Hosting individual and group workshops.
• Creating custom orders on a timely basis with strong attention to detail.
• Cleaning rooms and stations in the studio space after every workshop.
• Contribute to the creation of new products.

Employees may be expected to:

• Stay in a stationary position, sitting or standing for a prolonged period of time.
• Operate machinery and power tools.
• Adjust or move heavy objects in all directions.
