SCLA 2022 Conference Program Proposal Submission Form
This year’s conference theme is "Libraries Take Action!"  "Libraries Take Action" to meet the needs of those they serve in unique, creative, dynamic, and innovative ways.  The challenges we faced over the last two years, those confronting us today, and the  ones we have ahead have require we take action to meet and succeed!  Share your stories of the challenges you met, the innovations you made, the work around hacks you implemented, how you are meeting today's issues, and what challenges you are preparing to meet with your colleagues.  

Sessions are 50 minutes in length.  The format of the session may include presentations, panels, case studies, discussions, or hands-on activities.  If you have a proposal for a preconference, double session, or a unique format, contact Conference Chair Jimmie Epling to discuss your idea.    

The Conference is October 5th-7th.  The deadline for submitting completed proposals is MAY 31, 2022

***TERMS AND CONDITIONS***                                             Please note the following terms and conditions regarding presentations submitted:   ((1)) Session submitter will serve as primary contact, must have a valid email address and is responsible for communicating with co-presenter(s) regarding acceptance or rejection, registration requirements and deadlines.  ((2)) Presenters who are South Carolina librarians or library service/product providers, are required to register for the conference for the day of the presentation and pay the appropriate conference registration fee.   ((3)) An honorarium or travel/lodging reimbursement will not be offered to presenters who are South Carolina librarians or library service/product providers.   ((4)) Individuals who are presenting and are NOT South Carolina librarians or library suppliers must register for record purposes only.    ((5)) Incomplete submissions will not be considered for review.                                                                ((6)) Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
