LIONS’ Den is produced by RSTCA Studios Productions Limited  for broadcast, use and exploitation by RSTCA and the RSTCA(the Commissioner).  We are responsible for handling personal data you provide, including your contribution, in accordance with data protection law. We will use your personal data as necessary to assess your suitability as a contributor to this programme and to produce, distribute and promote the programme.     We and the RSTCA have a legitimate interest in using your personal data for journalistic, artistic and literary purposes. We also process personal data for fulfilling our legal obligations (for example, to meet tax reporting or safeguarding requirements) and/or with your consent (for example, unspent convictions to assess your suitability as a contributor).   Information relating to mental health  We may also collect personal data relating to your mental health. If you are invited to audition, we will ask you to tell us beforehand if you have anxiety, depression, or any other mental health difficulties. This is to enable us to provide effective support during auditions and – if you are successful at audition – before and after you deliver your pitch to the Dragons. We use the information you have provided relating to your mental health to deliver support before and after auditions and filming, including provision of a trained mental health first aider and phone-based support from a psychotherapist if needed.  We collect information relating to your mental health to enable us to meet our duty of care obligations to you. This information will only be shared with relevant members of the production team to provide any necessary support during the production. We may need to collect other sensitive information about you if relevant in the context of the Programme or where we have a lawful reason to do so.  Such personal data will generally be restricted to relevant members of the Programme’s production team and crew.
