【香港國安法大審判日—反對港府迫害民主運動人士聯署聲明】
在今日（２月６日），香港４７人案將在香港高等法院開審。此為《國安法》通過後規模最大的政治迫害，共４７人因組織及參與民主派初選被捕。例如黃之鋒（前香港眾志秘書長）、戴耀廷（佔中運動發起人）等政治人物，被控「串謀顛覆國家政權」，可能面對終身監禁。
中國共產黨無視港人意願，強行設立《國安法》，並透過設立國安法官、取消陪審團、剝奪被告公開審訊權利等手段，徹底踐踏了香港的司法制度。中國政府只求營造一場政治秀，以撲滅香港人的希望和勇氣。但是許多在囚者卻不屑低頭獻媚，反而勇於抗辯法庭上一條條莫須有罪名，為此我們決定發表聯署聲明，聲援眾多４７人案被告，希望令香港民主運動人士的勇氣在各地迴響。
一旦台灣盲目相信中國承諾的「和平」或「繁榮」，最終將會導致整個國家主權的滅亡，無數平民百姓動輒被捕，以往穩定的生活反而消失。 台灣作為中國軍事威脅的前線，去聲援香港民主運動並不單止基於民主自由價值的人類共同追求，更是為了提醒自身，來自中國的「和平」橄欖枝很可能隱藏麻痺台灣社會的毒刺。聲援香港民主運動人士，讓台灣社會對中國的虛假承諾更加警覺。近來台灣面對新政治局勢，一中框架的「和平協議」竟重返公共討論，我們希望台灣社會毋忘香港前車之鑑，審慎應對中國共產黨拋來的糖衣毒藥。
我們呼籲台灣社會、各個團體能加入聯署，多加關注香港國安法大審判的發展，多加支持仍敢於抗爭的香港民主運動人士；同時呼籲台灣各界留意中國對台的「和平協議」提議及其它變形敘事，小心中國的政治企圖；我們也期望新上任的陳建仁院長及內閣團隊，在現有對港援助專案機制的基礎上，延續並深化法制工作，繼續協助香港手足，共同抵擋中國對自由民主的侵蝕。

【The trial of HongKong47: the petition against Hong Kong government's brutal oppression on democratic activists】
The trial of Hong Kong47, which is the greatest political oppression after the enactment of Hong Kong's national security law, will take place at the high court of the Hong Kong SAR today (Feb 6th ). The 47 were arrested for organizing and participating in the primary election of the pro-democracy camp. Activists such as Joshua Wong, Benny Tai were charged with the offense of subversion of state power and may face the adjudication of a life sentence.
The Chinese Communist Party imposed the NSL on Hong Kong society. They ruin the judicial system by designating National Security Law judges, canceling the participation of the jury, and depriving their right to a public hearing. The Chinese government aims to stamp out the hope and fortitude of Hongkongers, but those imprisoned refuse to give up and decide to fight the false accusations in court. As the echo of their courage, we decide to launch this petition in order to express support for the 47.
The sovereignty of Taiwan will perish if the people believe in the so-called “peace” and “prosperity” promised by the Chinese government. Thousands of citizens might be threatened or arrested and will lose their life of steadiness. Taiwan, as the frontline of China's military threat, expresses support for the Hong Kong democracy movement not only because of the persuasion of the value of democracy and liberty, but also to remind Taiwan society to stay alert of the toxic promises of China. The promise of peace under the “one China policy” returned to public discussion due to the recent political situation. We hope Taiwan does not forget what Hong Kong becomes when she accepts the toxic promises of China.
We sincerely appeal to Taiwanese society to pay attention to the trial of Hong Kong 47, and support Hong Kong activists who are still acting bravely. We also appeal to the premier of Executive Yuen Tân Kiàn-jîn and his team to continue and strengthen the project of the Hong Kong asylum system and fight against the China invasion together with Hongkonger.
