The third-culture kid personal style survey
Since the expression "personal style" started floating around it is rare to read anything about third-culture kids aka kids who didn't grow up in the country of their parents. It is a topic I am really interested in because I am myself a third-culture kid as I was born in Cameroon and mostly grew up in France.

Le Journal Curioso is a mix fashion, style and identity, so I am curious to know about how as third-culture kids you built your personal style! Your answer will help me write an article about that topic which goal is to show how belonging to different cultures influence people in the way they dress.

As a token of appreciation for taking part in the survey,  I will offer to each free subscriber a three-month free access to Le Journal Curioso. That is the reason why I am asking for your email.

Thank you for answering the questions!

Where were you born and where did you grow up?
What is your first style (not fashion!) memory? A clue: mine was my grandmother wearing every day a traditional navy Cameroonian dress called kaba. Navy is the colour of widowed women in my culture.
How did the place you were born and the place you grew up shape your style?
Who were the people who inspired/influenced/nourished your style?
