Academic WorldQuest - Philadelphia Regional Competition
The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia is excited to announce the return of its WorldQuest International Trivia Competition and Education Fundraiser. Don’t miss out on this fun, fast-paced, interactive trivia competition testing your global knowledge! Find out just how much you know about international affairs, geography, history and culture, while broadening your knowledge and networking with other globally-minded contestants.

Join Council members, students, corporate executives, young professionals, friends and family to compete in this challenging quiz game. Teams of four will compete for prizes….and, of course, bragging rights! The first place high school team will represent the Philadelphia World Affairs Council at the national competition on April 26 and 27, 2019 in Washington, D.C.

Most importantly, proceeds from this competition will support the Council’s education programs which serve over 2,600 students in 89 schools and help to stimulate the development of creative thinking, problem-solving, team building and similar leadership skills that constitute the currency in a knowledge economy.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 1, 2019 (3 p.m.).
Registration Requirements
In order to successfully complete the application process for the 2019 Academic WorldQuest - Philadelphia Regional Competition, all faculty advisers are requested to to submit their (1) name, (2) primary email address, and (3) cell phone number.

This is a team competition. Teams consist of four high school students from the same school. In order to allow for as many schools as possible to participate, only two teams per school are permitted to enter the competition. To register a team(s), you will need an exact count of participant students and the name of each student you are registering.

Please note that this application must be completed in one sitting. You cannot save your work and return at a later time.
