The Bell Museum will provide the following to help facilitate your star party’s success: • Promotional materials • Kit of activities based on our theme “The Moon and Beyond." • Advertisement of your star party on our website, social media accounts and partner sites. • Tips and special online training for hosting a successful event. • Assistance connecting your organization to astronomers from across the state as needed.
Application Guidelines: • Event site must be in the state of Minnesota. • Events on Friday, November 8 or Saturday, November 9 are encouraged. • Event hosts accept all responsibility for the event, including organization, staffing, etc. • Events should be accessible to the general public (no private events). • Free events are highly encouraged. • Event site must have access real sky observing, no indoor only events (weather permitting).
