Projekt Performance Training Grounds
*
Required
This class is suitable for puppies ages 10-20 weeks of age who may have some basic training already but can include puppies who are starting basic obedience from scratch. This is a class centered around confidence building, social skills, and basic obedience for young impressionable puppies.  *
Required
This class is suitable for puppies that are temperamentally sound with people. Puppies with fearful, timid, aggressive, or reactive tendencies to physical touch or close proximity to people and other puppies/dogs will be recommended to participate in private lessons as they will require special attention. If you are not sure and need an evaluation of temperament before entering this course, we can happily arrange that beforehand. Typical puppy biting and jumping are normal puppy behaviors that are allowed in class. We will be covering how to navigate these common puppy behaviors in this group class.
*
Required
This class will be required that you provide a crate or small enclosure (an excercise pen) during brief periods in class. It is alright if your puppy is not used to this yet, we will be introducing crate training, enclosure training, and curbing separation anxiety during the course. *

 1.  Skyward K9 Training. will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training and board of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions.  However, I recognize that Skyward K9 Training is not responsible for any unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. I understand that the recommendation of any product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service. Further, I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skyward K9 Training and the Venue Owner of any and all claims of injury, expenses, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under Skyward K9 Training instruction or control and under my own care as a result of following training instructions. I have been told by Skyward K9  Training and understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to myself or others.

2. I understand that my dogs will be trained using personalized balanced training methods. I also understand that although my dogs will learn multiple behaviors, basic obedience, new routines, and management while in the care of  Skyward K9 Training, it is my responsibility to maintain this learning upon their return to the home environment. Dogs do not generalize well. This means that behavior taught while in our care will only be solidified through clear, calm and consistent repetition once home.  Skyward K9 Training recommends owners commitment to continued education through group classes and private instruction to proof and generalize training.

3. I understand that animal behavior is never fixed or static; it changes depending on circumstance and environment. Trained behaviors will fade or extinguish over time without consistent repetition and practice. Especially in cases of fear or aggression, although behavior may be modified to an extent, the dog is never “cured”. A dog’s behavior is ultimately the responsibility of the owner. Continuous training and proactive measures will be recommended for the duration of the animal’s lifetime.

4. I understand the price paid in full includes the amount of time agreed to train and board my dog(s). I understand any additional training will be an additional price. I understand the payment is nonrefundable.
