L.U.V. Award (Local Unit Volunteer of the Year)
Arizona PTA's Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes and honors outstanding a volunteer who has given selflessly to make their school community a better place for students and staff to achieve their goals.

This special person does not need to be the person who logs the most volunteer hours or a PTA/PTSA executive board member. Nominees should be someone who has made a positive impact on the school and its children. Favorable consideration is given to the nominee who also is shown to have promoted membership in the PTA/PTSA. All PTA/PTSA local units are encouraged to participate in this recognition of volunteers.
