This workshop focuses on providing educators with four essential tools and mindsets that they will need to implement anti-racist practices in their classrooms.

Critical Dialogues: Talking about Race in the Classroom

This workshop focuses strategies and practices that make conversations about race in the classroom meaningful and productive. We discuss specific tips and "moves" as well as advice for responding to racist comments in class.
The workshop is also appropriate for coaches and leaders.

Let's Unpack That!: A Lesson Structure for Tough Topics

This workshop provides guidance and best practices for discussing complex topics like race, gender identity or social justice, as well as how to hold space for students after they witness injustice on the news or in social media. We talk through how to tackle these issues and also all the "behind the scenes" work that teachers need to do to prepare to launch these topics. A sample lesson is also provided
