Running a user group is not very difficult, honestly. But it is time consuming. We want to do great things, but we need help for that. Do you want to be involved in making these things happen?

The pay is not good (there isn't any) but volunteering in a user group is a great way to have fun, meet smart and interesting people and participate in the local tech scene. Career-wise, it sends a very positive signal.

Once we have a team put together, we will set up meetings, maybe every 3 months or so, where we can all get together and throw some ideas around, make decisions and make plans to realize those ideas. At this particular moment in time, JavaScript is probably the most important programming language (for better or worse). Let's make the most of it.
