This Code of Conduct is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment at our robotics practice facility. All team members, mentors, and visitors are expected to adhere to these guidelines. At all times, do NOT come into contact with UACJ equipment or enter the manufacturing areas.

General Behavior:

Respect: Treat all individuals with respect and dignity. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any form of mistreatment will not be tolerated.

Safety: Prioritize safety above all else. Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate safety gear, and report any safety concerns immediately.

Professionalism: Maintain professionalism in your behavior and language. Remember that we represent our team and FIRST robotics.

Teamwork: Encourage collaboration and teamwork. Help each other, share knowledge, and support fellow team members.

Facility Usage:

Equipment: Use robotics equipment and tools responsibly and follow all operational guidelines. Report any damage or malfunction immediately.

Cleanliness: Keep the facility clean and organized. Clean up after yourself and return tools and materials to their designated places.

Reservations: Schedule facility time in advance and respect the allotted time slots. Be punctual, and if you need to cancel or reschedule, do so in a timely manner.

Safety Protocols:

Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures and exits in the facility. In case of an emergency, follow the established protocols.

Injury Reporting: If anyone is injured or involved in an accident, report it immediately to a mentor or coach.

Personal Conduct:

Dress Code: Wear appropriate attire, including closed-toe shoes and safety glasses, when in the practice facility. Follow any additional dress code requirements set by the team.

Food or Drinks: Food and drinks are discouraged in the practice facility to prevent damage to equipment and maintain cleanliness.

Coach's Authority:

Follow Coach's Instructions: Respect and follow the instructions provided by the coach. They have the authority to make decisions for the team's benefit.

Consequences of Violations:

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in consequences such as warnings, temporary suspensions, or expulsion from the practice facility or the team, depending on the severity of the infraction and the discretion of the coach and team leadership.
