I confirm that I have read understood the terms and conditions in my contract. I also confirm that I will at all times comply with the following statement of confidentiality.

STATEMENT OF CONFIDENTIALITY

i) I will NOT disclose information I acquire in the course of my professional work.
EXCEPT
A) Where clear and express consent has been obtained from the customer, employer or other proper source or;
B) Where there is a public duty to disclose. For example where the customer, employee, employer or other source may be at risk from abuse or neglect.

ii) I will neither use nor appear to use any information i acquire in the course of my professional work either during or after my employment by the company.
A) For my advantage or for the advantage of a third party, or;
B) to the detriment of the company, customers or employees.

iii) I will store confidential information securely and ensure that access to such information is given to those authorised by the company and only for the purpose authorised by the company.

I understand that is a staff member discovers that they have lost any documents containing confidential information then they must report it to their manager immediately. The manager and and staff member with try and retrace the staff members movements to try and recover the lost documents. In the event that the confidential documents are not recovered it would be the managers discretion on what further action is to be taken.

During my employment with the company i will endeavor at all times to promote the interests of the company. During employment, i will not be directly or indirectly involved in any business similar to that carried on by the company, except with the prior written consent or the company directors.
