SCICON Educational Display Art Contest Registration Form
Please complete this form to register your student(s) to participate in the SCICON Educational Display Art Contest to take place at the Tulare County STEAM Expo on March 9, 2019. Each project must be registered individually.

The purpose of this contest is to update educational display boards utilized in the outdoor classrooms of SCICON science camp. Individuals, groups or classes will create a plain paper (10” x 10”) design depicting a science concept (outlined below) in the medium of their choice including pencil, paint, or watercolor. Two divisions, including 9th through 12th grade and 5th through 8th grade, have two theme options each for educational display projects.

Projects will be judged at the STEAM Expo on March 9th. Winners will be announced at the Science & Engineering Fair Awards Ceremony at the STEAM Expo. The winning projects will be adapted to 4’ x 4’ educational boards to be displayed at SCICON. Winning displays will be unveiled at the SCICON BBQ & Wildflower Festival on April 14.

Please note: Due to limited space at this event, space will only be allotted to projects that have been registered by the February 25th deadline.

Once we receive your registration information, we will send you the paperwork necessary to participate at this event.

Project entries must be turned in March 8th between 4 and 6 p.m. or March 9th between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. to the Multipurpose Room at the TCOE Liberty Center located at 11535 Avenue 264 in Visalia.
