Each year, Cornell Labs has a Global Big Day when birders around the world focus their efforts to identify the maximum number of species in a 24 hour period. They have asked all birders to assist in their efforts. Seabrook Island Birders has scheduled a walk along Jenkins Point to kick-off our day on Seabrook Island. Join us for a morning watching the spring birds seen along Jenkins Point. Along the way we hope to observe baby egrets along with other spring migratory birds. In past years we have seen Orchard Orioles, Painted Buntings, Semi-palmated Plovers and Willets amoung other birds in addition to the adorable egrets.
As always, be sure to bring your water, binoculars, hats and sunscreen.
