YEA is excited to offer a one-day Student Leadership Retreat on Sunday, October 12th. This will be a full-day event filled with hands-on, immersive experiences like kayaking, cultivating your personal leadership and facilitation skills, and group work related to our Pollinator Meadow collaborative project.
The event will be held at Salisbury University's Nanticoke River Center outside of Riverton, MD (about 30 minutes from Salisbury). We will provide transportation for up to 13 students and welcome others to caravan in their own vehicles if necessary. All participants should meet at the Boundless Community Garden Parking lot at 8AM for drop off. We will return students at the same location for pickup at 5PM. Lunch and snacks are provided. We will do our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions, but for severe allergies we welcome students to bring their own lunch/snacks.
