School Schedule Changes Survey
Last winter, the Olympia School Board formed a Citizens Advisory Committee on School Year Calendar/Start Times. The committee was formed in response to extensive research that shows that later school start times improve academic, health, and safety outcomes for middle and high school students. The committee conducted a districtwide survey in the spring, which showed that our community strongly supports pursuing later school start times for adolescents. Based on the survey results, the committee asked the Transportation department to develop a cost-neutral bus schedule that moved middle and high school start times later. The committee is now looking for your input on this draft schedule. If adopted, the changes could take effect in the 2020-21 school year.

Your feedback on the following proposed new start and end times is important! The deadline to complete this survey is 5 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019. Please complete this survey only one time per person. The survey is anonymous.
