Easy (no strategizing when away)
Medium (no communication directly with each other when away)
Hard (absolutly no communication with each other when away)
We planned and coordinated constantly and ignored that rule
How did you feel about limiting player communication?
I liked the thematic implications
I liked the challenge
I liked having to plan around meeting my partner on the board
I felt like I made an equal number of decisions as my partner
I disliked not being able to talk when I felt like it
I felt frustrated watching my partner make bad moves
I felt worried when my partner was unexpectedly cut-off from me

How did you feel about controlling the creatures?
I liked how free-form their behavior was
I could have used more guidance on how they act
I often made the game easier for myself when moving the creatures
Our creatures developed personalities during play
We developed an ecosystem and figured out how they interact during play
All of our creatures ended up behaving the same way

I liked discovering new places
There was not enough variety
I liked having locations and features (e.g. forest and grove) separate
I wish exploration had fewer steps
The map took up too much table space

They added a nice element of surprise and flavor
