The event program will have several technical parts, including lecture by top international researchers, and interesting workshops to have a hands-on experience with some of the most advanced AI techniques. The third part of the technical program will give an opportunity to Tunisian researchers to showcase their works through poster presentations. If you have a work that is finished or in progress in or related to one of the fields listed below, you are invited to submit your work. Your work will be peer-reviewed and if selected, you’ll be invited to present it during the event.
All submissions must be in the form of a poster of at most 36W x 48H inches or 90 x 122 cm (PDF, PowerPoint, Google Slides), and can be submitted up to March 20th. The work should be presented in English, and should present the problem definition, the main contributions and results. A Google slides template is provided on the event website, the candidates are encouraged but not obliged to use it.
The technical scope of the poster challenge includes all the recent AI developments. The following list is indicative but not exhaustive:- Learning theory: Optimization problematics for AI, Statistical learning theory, Convergence, Complexity, Regularization, Information theory, ... - Deep learning: Deep models including CNNs, GANs, generative models, Recurrent models...- Reinforcment learning: Model based or model free RL systems, efficient exploration, hierarchical RL, ...- Bayesian optimization, Gaussian processes and other probabilistic methods- All AI applications: Image and video analysis, medical applications, language modeling, autonomous driving, robotics, ...

IMPORTANT : During the event, a best poster will be selected by a jury of experts. The selected poster first author will be given a ticket to present their work during the main Indaba in Nairobi, Kenya between 25 and 31 August 2019!
