The Musical Theater Club will run all seasons from Sept. 15th - June 5th on Tuesdays 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM in Room 217.  In the Musical Theater Club, students will be watching musicals from a variety of genres and time periods.  They will discuss how the musicals have changed to reflect societal norms and standards or used to push back on those same norms and standards.  Students will plan a trip to PPAC to see a musical during the school year.

I, the undersigned parent and/or guardian of student listed above, a minor, do hereby consent to my child’s participation in voluntary athletic or recreation programs of Atlantis Charter School. I also agree to forever release Atlantis Charter School, the Board of Trustees, and all their employees, agents, volunteers, affiliates, and any and all individuals and organizations assisting or participating in voluntary athletic or recreation programs of the Atlantis Charter School (“the Releasees”) from any and all claims, rights of action and causes of action, both in law and in equity, that may have arisen in the past, or may arise in the future, directly or indirectly, from personal injuries or any other harm to my child or property damage resulting from my child’s participation in Atlantis Charter School voluntary athletic or recreation programs.  I also promise, to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees against any and all legal claims and proceedings of any description that may have been asserted in the past, or may be asserted in the future, directly or indirectly, arising from personal injuries to my child or property damage resulting from my child’s participation in Atlantis Charter School voluntary athletic or recreation programs.  By allowing my child to participate in this club/activity, I understand and agree that Atlantis Charter School staff has:• The right, at its sole discretion, to exclude my child from any activity for failure to follow or failure to adhere to any and all rules and/or policies set forth in the Atlantis Charter School Student handbook and/or any eligibility guidelines. *

I further affirm that I have read this Consent and Release Form and that I understand the contents of this Form.  I understand that my child’s participation in these programs is voluntary and that my child and I are free to choose not to participate in said programs.  By signing this Form, I affirm that I have decided to allow my child to participate in Atlantis Charter School voluntary athletic and recreation programs with full knowledge that the Releasees will not be liable to anyone for personal injuries and property damage my child or I may suffer in Atlantis Charter School voluntary athletic or recreation programs.

Does the student has permission to participate in club? *
Parents/guardians are asked to please sign, date, and electronically send the consent form back to the advisor at the e-mail address provided.  A parent/guardian may also drop off a signed consent form at the school between 8:00am and 3:30pm. If a parent/guardian is unable to electronically share a signed copy of the consent form, or drop one off at the school, please contact the advisor to see what alternative arrangements can be made for the school to obtain the signed consent. *
