Fall is just around the corner and we are all looking forward for our students to get into the groove of consistent weekly lessons after a relaxing summer. The Nelly Berman School prides itself on the high achievements of its students. Thanks to the weekly consistency of lessons our phenomenal faculty are able to instill in the students their own passion for music making, and transfer the knowledge of specific technical skills to make the musical intent of the composers come to life. We would like to wish everybody a good end of the Summer.
In the meanwhile, please take the time to register for the Fall Semester, so that we can start full swing on September 4th, the first day of our fall semester. We run on a semester-basis with a specific number of weeks, from Wednesday, September 4th to Sunday, December 22nd. If you are not able to start lessons in the first week of the semester, please contact the office so that we can schedule make-ups for that missed week.
Please fill out this registration, and provide us with as many days as possible that work with your schedule for lessons, and the earliest and latest time you could come for lessons on those days. The reason that we need as many days/times availability as possible is so that we can put together a schedule for your teacher that will allow each student to get their possible times. This is a daunting task and we appreciate your flexibility in accommodating your teacher's schedules.
Even if you don't yet know your student's exact sports or after school schedule, please register for the days and times that work for you for the first two weeks and we will work with your family to change it if needed.
**The fall semester will run from Wednesday, September 4th to Sunday, December 22nd.**
Deposit / Fall Tuition:
1. $470 (+$65 for each additional student) is due by the first lesson of the fall semester, either sent by mail or brought to the office at the first lesson.
This payment covers a $350 Deposit (1st installment) towards fall semester tuition, in addition to our Annual Registration fee of $120 for the first student and $65 for each additional student (The registration fee consists of a $65 annual registration fee per student and a $55 unlimited weekly performance class fee for all of the siblings from September through May) The performance classes allow students to practice performing in front of their peers and parents, which is very different than playing for their teacher at lessons, and teaches them to have self-confidence and stamina at their two yearly concert performances on the big stage.
2. The remainder of fall tuition is due in full by Wednesday, September 25th, or due in two additional installments receivable by Wednesday, September 25th, for lessons through October and Monday, October 21st, for lessons to the end of December.
**A late fee of $12 will be assessed if any payment is not received in full within a week of the due date.**
The registration form, below, accommodates up to 2 children; if your family consists of more than two children, please fill out this form TWICE.
**You do not have to re-register in the Winter or Spring semesters; This form registers your family for the entire 2019-2020 academic year.**
