Thank you for your interest in joining an ASCE Philadelphia Section committee. Joining a committee is a way to volunteer with the Section without committing to a board position. If joining the board is a goal of yours, serving on a committee is a way to get you a step closer to that goal.

Current ASCE Philadelphia Section Committees:
- Awards Committee - Committee responsible for soliciting and evaluating nominations for the annual awards of the Philadelphia Section
- General Membership Meetings Committee - Committee responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the monthly Philadelphia Section dinner meetings
- Government Affairs Committee - Committee responsible for organizing events that engage local, state, and federal government officials
- JEDI Task Committee - This committee will focus on the Section's operations, communication to its members, updated documents such as bylaws and operations manuals, and event planning procedures and then provide recommendations to the Section on how it can be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive in its operations
- Scholarship Committee - Committee responsible for soliciting and evaluating nominations for any scholarships sponsored by the Philadelphia Section
- Section Newsletter Committee - Committee responsible for compiling content for and drafting the monthly ASCE Philadelphia Section newsletter
- Sponsorship Committee - Committee responsible for developing/maintaining a sponsorship program and soliciting paid sponsors for the Philadelphia Section
- Spring Social Committee - Committee responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the annual spring social
