Description:
The FBA/BIP Training will consist of a one-day in-person training and at least 3 follow-up coaching sessions (virtual or in-district). The training will provide detailed information around the concepts and systems necessary to utilize Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Planning (FBA-BIP) to support students with challenging behavior.
The follow-up coaching sessions will be a step-by-step implementation process. They will focus specifically on the processes and tools needed to assist coaches, facilitators and problem-solving teams in planning, implementing, and evaluating FBA-BIP.
Participants will have access to examples of forms, documents, and other resources that can be used to gather the necessary information needed to develop an FBA and BIP. Coaching sessions will include individualized support on the development of an FBA and/or BIP.
