When: July 10th, from 8:00am-10:00am.
Where: Durham Academy Middle School (3116 Academy Road in Durham)
Why: Our city must invest in systemic, whole-community interventions that counter the inequalities that prevent black and brown children and children of immigrants from having the access to quality education and opportunities they deserve to reach their full potential, lead our communities, and ultimately, disrupt and dismantle the systems of oppression that exist within our Durham community.
Join Student U, other community organizations, and leaders in DPS to strategize and add your perspective on how to better support Durham's students of color in and outside of the classroom. Together, we can build a better community for our students!
