Volunteer for the April 2nd, 2016 Point West Project Volunteer Day
Join neighbors from the Westside and Old Oakland neighborhoods, SOCA business owners, and other volunteers to help us with a HUGE volunteer day on Saturday, April 2nd, from 9:00am to 1:00pm! Activities will include stripping sod, trench and post-hole digging, garden composting, and other light maintenance. Together we will kick off building a one-mile recreational trail in West Side and Dunnebacke Parks!

All volunteers will receive free Biggby Coffee and snacks. Sign up below, and we will contact you via email the week before the event to finalize details. We will have tools available, but we also encourage you to BYOT! (That's Bring Your Own Tool, yo.) We will also warn you about this again, but please dress comfortably and wear closed toe shoes. Don't be that guy in flip flops trying to dig a trench!

Please note that all ages are welcome, but those under 18 will need a parent or guardian present at all times.

If you have questions about volunteering or the event, please contact Joe Duris, Old Oakland Neighborhood Association, at 517-775-9531.
