2024 Castle Rock Farmers Market Vendor Application for Saturdays at Douglas County Fairgrounds
This application is for SATURDAYS at the Douglas County Fairgrounds 8am to 12pm. We are a FOOD/AGRICULTURE BASED Market, and the MAJORITY of vendors will need to be food/agriculture based or related to Food/ Agriculture. We limit the amount of Non-Food vendors. Please fill out the application in it's entirety. You will be asked to provide a credit card number for the application fee. You will also be asked to agree to the terms, so PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The 2024 Season will be June 15, 2024 thru October 5, 2024. DO NOT FILL OUT MORE THAN ONE RESPONSE. A board member will get back to you with a decision by end of April 2024. If you are selected, please be prepared to bring copies of Tax Licenses, Health Department License, and any other certification needed and keep with you at all markets you attend. You will be responsible for filing your own taxes with the City of Castle Rock, Douglas County, and the State of Colorado (as applicable).  You will be responsible for your own trash removal and your space must be left CLEAN. Space fees are: FULL TIME VENDORS (attending ALL dates) $35 per day and  PART TIME VENDORS $45 per day, due at the end of each day for a 10x10 space . We will get back to you ASAP. The market dates are below and the hours are 8 am-12pm. Vendors may enter at 6:30 am and need to be packed up by 1:30 pm. Prior vendors will take priority in the selection process. Castle Rock Farmers Market has a long history of being the premier Farmers Market in Castle Rock and surrounding areas, bringing residents Colorado based foods. The market's success relies on all vendors and attendance is a crucial component to a successful market. Having spaces with missing vendors hurts the market and the remaining vendors. Therefore the following rules have been implemented to ensure the continued success for ALL vendors and the Market as a whole. 1) If you apply for this market and do not show up, you will be charged a $100 non-refundable application fee. You will not be charged an application fee if you are an approved vendor and in attendance for the dates you selected at the time of application.  2) If you select all dates, which constitutes Full time status, and then miss any date for any reason other than an Emergency,  (Emergency is defined as a death in the family, extreme sickness, accident, damage to crops by weather, or other emergencies deemed significant by the Board) you will be charged for the date(s) you missed with the credit card number on file, moved to the part time rate, and may lose your assigned space within the market. If there is an emergency or you can't make a date, you are expected to CALL/TEXT Heather (Board President) at 720-220-3461 (save this number) as soon as possible for consideration of an emergency. Inclement weather is not an emergency, and you are still expected to attend, unless the Board cancels the entire market for the day.  3) You will be responsible for filing your own taxes with the City of Castle Rock, Douglas County, and the State of Colorado (as applicable). 4) You will be responsible for your own trash removal and your space must be left CLEAN. A $35 fee for trash removal will be assessed if you leave trash. 5) The Market reserves the right to place vendors in different places to fill in the market due to absences. We will try our best to keep you in the same spot, but may need to move you to do what is best for the market from week to week. 6) Vendor selection is determined by the board. Priority is given to past vendors, full time vendors, and vendors with excellent attendance. 7) Please be at the market NO LATER than 7:45 set up and ready to sell. *
