Jane Street - Estimathon (HKG)
The Estimathon! is a mind bending mixture of math and trivia. In teams, you'll attempt a number of Fermi problems ranging from totally trivial to positively Putnamesque. Be prepared to come up with the best set of confidence intervals!

Estimathon will take place on Tuesday, October 12 from 5pm to 6pm HKT. As it is a team-based competition, all participants will be placed on a team randomly by Jane Street. The size of teams depends on the number of attendees. Thank you for understanding.  
 
Please submit this form by FRIDAY, October @ 2pm HKT to register for this event. We will confirm attendees with further details on Monday, October 11. Please ensure to indicate if you have any preference on the date to participate in this competition.

All attendees MUST have access to Zoom accounts and be willing and to use it for this event.

Virtual Estimathon Participation Requirements
In order to compete in Jane Street's Virtual Estimathon, all particpants must

1. Have access to Zoom accounts and be willing to use them during Estimathon

2. Use Zoom from a laptop or desktop during Estimathon is strongly encouraged. You can play from a mobile or tablet device, but it may downgrade your experience.

3. Have access to a reliable internet connection that allows for video conferencing for the duration of Estimathon
