About Queeribbean Crossings:
Join Caribbean Equality Project, in partnership with the CUNY LGBTQIA+ Consortium and Queens College, for Queeribbean Crossings: Solidarity as Resistance, a transnational Caribbean LGBTQ+ community conference featuring the Queens premiere screening of the short film Caribbean Queen by GLAAD Media Award-winning director Sekiya Dorsett.
Hosted annually in December in recognition of 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence and Human Rights Day, Queeribbean Crossings
centers the intersections of cross-racial solidarity and racialized violence on themes of liberation, intimate partner violence, social justice, immigration, trans equity, decriminalization, mental health, sexual health, and other pertinent issues impacting Black, Asian, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ Caribbean communities.
Volunteer at Queeribbean Crossings!
We are looking for volunteers to support the conference. Please complete the Volunteer form, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
We have scheduled a virtual Queeribbean Crossings orientation for Tuesday, December 3, at 6 pm.
