What do I do if I do not want to make any changes?
If the employee is already enrolled and they are satisfied with their current elections, then they do not need to take any action. The enrollments will carry over into the new plan year. The one exception are the flexible spending accounts (Health FSA and Dep Care FSA). Those plans require an active enrollment, indicating the election amount desired for the coming plan year.

Deadlines for submitting to DepCare FSA / Health FSA
For the 2024 plan year, DepCare participants will have a grace period ending March 15, 2024. Unused funds contributed in the 2023 plan year can be used for reimbursement of claims incurred from your 2023 enrollment date through March 15, 2024. The deadline for submitting claims is April 15, 2024.
What are the Health FSA/DepCare FSA contribution limits?
Health Care FSA contribution limit is $3,050. Dependent Care FSA is $5,000. - for those who earn 150k or greater than contribution limit for Dependent Care FSA is $3000.

If an employee has unused funds on FSA, do they rollover to the new year?  
$610 will be available for carryover into 2024. The funds are available in mid-May           

When is the Medicare Coordination form due back to RASC?
For retirees making changes to their Medicare plan, you will have until November 27th to submit the Medicare Coordination forms for UC Medicare Choice (UBEN 121), Anthem Blue Cross Medicare Plans (UBEN 123) or  Kaiser Senior Advantage (UBEN 127).You can submit the Medicare Coordination form by uploading the form to your UCRAYS' account.

Do I need to notify Kaiser that I am a new member in order to get the Health insurance card or does it automatically notify them?
If this is an Open Enrollment change then it will go into effect on January 1, 2024. The vendor (Kaiser) will receive the information directly from UC Path/RASC. Employees will receive a confirmation from UC Path and retirees will receive a confirmation from RASC.
