Webinar RSVP | Out of Options: Addressing Inequities in Care for Texans with IDD and Mental Illness (March 19, 2025 at 11 a.m. CST)

Following months of research and interviews with individuals living and working at the intersection of this co-occurrence, we released an in-depth, investigative report, “Out of Options: Addressing Inequities in Care for Texans with IDD and Mental Illness,” authored by Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist Alex Stuckey. This report is a part of The Arc of Texas Whole Person Project, funded by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, which seeks to expand access to quality mental health services for adult Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Join The Arc of Texas on March 19 at 11 a.m. CST for a one-hour conversation on Zoom about key findings from our investigative report, as well as recommendations, resources, and related policy discussions happening at the Texas Legislature. Confirmed speakers:

  • Jennifer Martinez | CEO, The Arc of Texas
  • Sabrina Gonzalez Saucedo | Director of Public Policy & Advocacy, The Arc of Texas
  • Alex Stuckey | Investigative Journalist, Whole Person Project
