There are multiple benefits to this internship. This is an opportunity to gain work experience that you can place on a future job or school application. You will also have a valuable source of references from the leaders you work with who can be put down for applications. You will learn how to serve in Worship, Media, and Tech Ministries and see the inner workings of how the church is run on a week to week basis. You will be invested in, not just in your leadership skills, but also in your personal and spiritual life. Our goal is to see you develop as a worship leader, tech leader, and social media creator. We want to learn together and have fun together, to grow in community, and to fellowship while we work and serve both God and His local church body at The Oaks. Compensation to be determined.
Time Commitment: 15-20 hours a week. 3 months total - June to August.
Mandatory Time Requirements
Sunday Church service each week is mandatory to attend even if you are not serving.
Worship Practice on Thursday nights
Meetings once a week with Kristina – scheduled according to your availability
Meetings once a month with
Staff meetings twice a month on Tuesdays
Sunday morning whole team meetings at 9:30am before service
Meet w/ Bethany twice a month to discuss personal spiritual formation & leadership development
2 Training sessions during the summer on ministry topics
