Registration 18 June Radio AZC 

Welcome to Radio AZC, a live radio broadcast by residents of AZC's in Amsterdam!

This interactive listening session invites audiences to step inside the world of the AZC. In a series of radio workshops, members of Sawa Collective community (young people in asylum procedure) co-create live radio shows with Stratenmakers Audiocollectief on Salto FM to share their stories and experiences in their own words and by their own means. On June 18 we host a public broadcast at Imagine IC (Bijlmerplein 393 Amsterdam) as part of Refugee Welcome Week. 

Refugee Welcome Week NL 2026 is a refugee-led programme bringing together young refugees and newcomers across four Dutch cities. Over two weeks, participants take the lead as performers, curators, hosts, producers, and storytellers, creating spaces of connection through art, discussion, film, music, food, and community action. Refugee Welcome Week NL is part of the wider international Refugee Week movement and is organised in close partnership with Refugee Week UK. Explore the full programme at www.refugeewelcomeweek.nl.

RADIO AZC - Expect an intimate and dynamic program featuring:

  • Live radio show created on the spot
  • Personal stories and everyday experiences from AZC residents
  • Live music by musicians of Orchestre Partout
  • Conversations and interviews
  • Possible spontaneous questions to the audience during the live radio broadcast
