Thank you for your interest in our new program Kirva Disability Wisdom as Soul Care led by Rabbi Lauren Tuchman. We will be launching two, ten session practice groups or vaads. One group will primarily be for folks living with disability, chronic illness or who are exploring that identification for themselves. This group will be on Wednesdays, mid morning, 11am-12:45pm (EST) on the following dates: May 15, 29; June 19, 26, July 10, 24; August 7, 21; September 4,18. The other group will welcome all who wish to practice and learn regardless of disability status or identification. This group will be on Thursday evenings from 7pm-8:45pm (EST) on the following dates: May 16, 30; June 20, 27; July 11, 25; August 8, 22; September 5, 19. Upon receipt of your application form, Rabbi Tuchman will reach out to schedule a fifteen-minute conversation to tell you a bit more about herself and this Mussar offering, answer any questions you have and ensure this program is a good fit.
Payment: Please note that Kirva: Disability Wisdom As Soul Care is offered on a sliding scale of $36-360. Upon acceptance into a vaad, Rabbi Tuchman will connect you with Dan Gelbtuch who will handle the registration confirmation and payment. At Kirva, no one is ever turned away from a program for financial reasons. Please be in touch with us if finances are a concern and we will work with you to ensure you are able to join us.
