Description: We are asking for volunteers to help us in aiding our allies at 714 Mutual Aid in Santa Ana, with their food/essentials/HR distribution event, this weekend. They provide food, clothing, blankets, hygiene essentials, first aid materials, HR materials, and more, to our unhoused neighbors at Santiago Park. 714 Mutual Aid has built a relationship with these individuals, and they have come to rely on the bi-weekly distributions for clean goods.

Important Info: Please wear comfortable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, & bring plenty of water and sunscreen. If anyone has wagons or rolling carts they can bring transporting items, they would be very helpful! You are welcome to bring homemade goods to share if you would like, the people always enjoy that! We want to be low-key, efficient, and not disturb any of the community members enjoying the park - we do not advertise the HR materials, we do not photograph them and we keep them covered until we directly ask our unhoused neighbors if they would like any.

The parking lot is not very large, but street parking is also available. Please consider carpooling if possible.

Items Needed
- Pillows were a big hit!
- Clean socks and undergarments
- Snacks (fruit gummies are a favorite)
- Sandwich making materials (deli meat, bread, spreads)
- Meal replacement shakes (shelf stable)
- Backpacks (bags in general)
- First aid materials, especially Band-Aids, Neosporin, hydrocolloid patches, gauze, medical tape etc.
- Pet food (dog and cat), portioned into gallon-sized Ziplocs
