Nominees must either be college-bound graduating seniors or recent graduates who are involved in Youth Venture (or have been in the past), and continue to show the spirit of Changemaking or service.

Leadership
Leadership is defined as an individual's ability to empower other people to take action.

Vision
Vision is the individual's ability to look at the larger picture, specifically in terms of creating opportunities for young people and improving what they define as their community. Your nominee must also have an understanding that changing the larger system starts with local work.

UWYV believes that young people have the capability and passion to create and launch new ideas that can change their schools and communities. We hope to change society’s views of youth by catalyzing a mass movement of young people who have the vision and drive to make a difference. How does the nominee embody this vision? *
