Application: Environmental Justice Storytelling Workshop
This virtual workshop, hosted by Southerly and Women AdvaNCe, is open to women and gender non-binary folks in North Carolina who are interested in telling stories of environmental justice in their communities. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on October 22, we will gather virtually to discuss media literacy, how to stop the spread of misinformation, how to access public records, how to pitch stories, and how to use social media as a storytelling platform. We'll hear from organizers, reporters, and editors, and break out into groups to workshop ideas.

Please fill out the application below. We will select up to 15 participants. Each participant will receive a $100 stipend. The deadline to apply is Sept. 22.
