The opportunity to work with the Teen Aviation of New Jersey Aircraft Build Program is a privilege offered to serious students who would like to develop skills in aviation.  Though experience is not necessary to participate, a sincere interest in aviation is a desired trait.  With that in mind, the following commitments are expected:
1.  Build sessions are conducted weekly at the Flying W Airport in Medford, New Jersey.  Poor attendance is a reason to be dropped from the program.
2.  While regular attendance at build sessions is important, students must also understand that schoolwork takes precedence over the program.  Students are expected to maintain acceptable grades and attendance in school.
3.  The building of an aircraft, as well as aviation in general is serious business.  No horseplay will be tolerated while on the airport grounds, in the facility, with the tools and/or with the project.
4.  The airport ramp and environs are a secure area.  Students and/or parents/guardians will not enter the secure area without permission and escort by a program manager or mentor.

In return for agreeing to these conditions, Teen Aviation of New Jersey agrees to make available to each student the following:
1.  Participation in at least one orientation flight.
2.  Eligibility for a free Aviation Ground School program made available by Sporty's Pilot Shop after completing the orientation flight.  This is a benefit for those students who would like to move forward with getting a Sport Pilot Certificate, but is not mandatory for participation in the Teen Aviation of New Jersey Aircraft Build Program.
3.  Access to the Teen Aviation of New Jersey Aircraft Build Program managers and mentors to all students to answer their aviation questions.
